Descripci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Espa\u00f1ol<\/strong>: M57 es conocida como la “Nebulosa del Anillo”. Encontrar esta nebulosa planetaria es muy f\u00e1cil, ya que se localiza entre Gamma <\u03b3> y Beta <\u03b2> Lyrae, las dos estrellas que marcan la porci\u00f3n sur de la lira. El \u00e1rea circundante a la nebulosa es muy llamativa debido a la cantidad de estrellas brillantes que la pueblan (seg\u00fan se ve a 30x). A 60x, muchas de ellas van quedando fuera del campo de visi\u00f3n, lo que permite que resalte la apariencia de anillo de M57, que no es visble a menor aumento. A 30x, M57 se asemeja a J\u00fapiter en tama\u00f1o, pero tiene un color gris-verdoso semejante al de Urano o Neptuno, lo que la distingue f\u00e1cilmente de las estrellas. A 127x, a la forma de anillo se le a\u00f1aden diferencias en luminosidad que lo cortan en dos arcos, uno ligeramente m\u00e1s brillante que el otro. La estrella central no es visible (mag. 15.7). El centro de la nebulosa tiene un color ligeramente gris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English<\/strong>: M57 is known as the “Ring Nebula.” Finding this planetary nebula is very easy, since it is located between Gamma <\u03b3> and Beta <\u03b2> Lyrae, the two stars that mark the southern portion of the lyre. The area surrounding the nebula is very striking due to the number of bright stars that populate it (as seen at 30x). At 60x, many of them are left out of the field of view, and highlights the ring structure of M57, which is not visible at a lower magnification. At 30x, M57 resembles Jupiter in size, but has a gray-greenish color similar to that of Uranus or Neptune, which makes the nebula stand out from the surrounding stars. At 127x, differences in brightness are added to the ring, cutting it into two arches, one slightly brighter than the other. The central star is not visible (mag. 15.7). The center of the nebula has a grayish hue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comentarios de Messier en 1784:<\/strong> C\u00famulo de luz localizado entre \u03b3 y \u03b2 de la Lira, descubierta observando el cometa de 1779, que pas\u00f3 bien cerca: pareci\u00f3 que este c\u00famulo de luz, que es redondo, [p. 246] est\u00e1 compuesto de estrellas bien peque\u00f1as: con los mejores anteojos no es posible percibirlas, solo resta solamente la sospecha que las hay. M. Messier report\u00f3 este c\u00famulo de luz en la carta del cometa de 1779. M. Darquier, en Toulouse, descubri\u00f3 esta nebulosa observando el mismo cometa y \u00e9l reporta: \u00abNebulosa entre \u03b3 y \u03b2 de la Lira; es bien opaca, pero perfectamente terminada; es gruesa como J\u00fapiter y se asemeja a un planeta que se apaga.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
