Descripci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Espa\u00f1ol:<\/strong> M74 se ve\u00eda redonda y muy tenue, con un centro ligeramente m\u00e1s brillante que el resto de la galaxia. Mir\u00e1ndola de reojo (“averted vision”), se detectaban algunas \u00e1reas \u2014como puntos\u2014 dentro de la galaxia, en lo que corresponder\u00eda a la regi\u00f3n de los brazos espirales; no obstante, es probable que solo sean estrellas locales superpuestas a la galaxia m\u00e1s lejana. Como mejor se observa es con poco aumento (30x). A mayores aumentos, y debido a la baja brillantez superficial, M74 se pierde de vista. Es, en mi opini\u00f3n (y probablemente), uno de los objetos Messier m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de ver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English:<\/strong> M74 looked round and very faint, with a center which is slightly brighter than the rest of the galaxy. Looking with averted vision, some point-like areas were detected within the galaxy, in what would correspond to the area covered by its spiral arms; however, very likely they are only local stars superimposed on the farthest galaxy. It is best observed at low power (30x). At higher powers, M74 is lost from sight due to its low surface brightness. In my opinion it is probably one of the most difficult Messier objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
