Descripci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Espa\u00f1ol:<\/strong> En la primera observaci\u00f3n que hice de M25, escrib\u00ed: \u201cBien grande y brillante. Tiene una estrella anaranjada o amarilla en el centro, posiblemente U Sagittarii. La forma de este c\u00famulo abierto es algo as\u00ed (inclu\u00eda una peque\u00f1a representaci\u00f3n de la forma del c\u00famulo). Al este de la estrella central, hay un conglomerado de 7 u 8 estrellas tenues.\u201d En otra observaci\u00f3n posterior, anot\u00e9: \u201cC\u00famulo muy llamativo. Una franja oscura lo divide en dos partes con casi igual n\u00famero de estrellas e igual extensi\u00f3n. La primera impresi\u00f3n que me produjo la franja oscura fue la de un puente. En el centro del c\u00famulo hay una estrella amarilla que sobresale sobre todas las dem\u00e1s. Cerca de esta, hay un grupo compacto de estrellas tenues.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English:<\/strong> On the first observation I made of M25, I wrote: \u201cVery big and bright. There is an orange or yellow star in the center, possibly U Sagittarii. The shape of this open cluster looks like this (I included a small representation of the cluster’s shape). East of the central star, there is a group of 7 or 8 dim stars.\u201d In a later observation, I wrote: \u201cThis cluster is very striking. A dark band divides it into two parts with almost equal number of stars and similar area. The first I got from that dark rift was that of a bridge. In the center of the cluster is a yellow star that stands out above the rest. There is a compact group of faint stars near this star.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cometarios de Messier en 1771:<\/strong> La misma noche, determin\u00e9 la posici\u00f3n de otro c\u00famulo de peque\u00f1as estrellas en la vecindad de los dos precedentes, entre la cabeza y el extremo del arco del Sagitario, y aproximadamente sobre el mismo paralelo que los otros dos: la estrella conocida m\u00e1s cercana es aquella de sexta magnitud, vig\u00e9sima primera del Sagitario, en el cat\u00e1logo de Flamsteed: este c\u00famulo est\u00e1 compuesto de peque\u00f1as estrellas que se ven dif\u00edcilmente con un anteojo ordinario de 3 pies; no contienen ninguna nebulosidad, y su extensi\u00f3n puede tener 10 minutos de grado. Determin\u00e9 su posici\u00f3n compar\u00e1ndola con la estrella \u03bc del Sagitario; su ascensi\u00f3n recta ha sido encontrada de 274\u00b0 25′ y su declinaci\u00f3n de 19\u00b0 5′ meridional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comentarios de Messier en 1784:<\/strong> C\u00famulo de peque\u00f1as estrellas en la vecindad de dos c\u00famulos precedentes, entre la cabeza y el extremo del arco del Sagitario: la estrella conocida m\u00e1s cercana a este c\u00famulo es la 21.ra<\/sup> estrella del Sagitario, de 6.ta<\/sup> magnitud, seg\u00fan Flamsteed. Las estrellas de este c\u00famulo se ven dif\u00edcilmente con un anteojo ordinario de tres pies; no se percibe nebulosidad alguna. Su posici\u00f3n fue conocida por la estrella \u03bc del Sagitario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
