Descripci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Espa\u00f1ol:<\/strong> M41 se localiza en la constelaci\u00f3n del Can Mayor, aproximadamente a 4\u00b0 al sur de Sirio, la estrella m\u00e1s brillante del cielo nocturno. Este c\u00famulo es f\u00e1cil de ver con binoculares, en los que se muestra casi circular. A trav\u00e9s de un telescopio, M41 luce estupendo. Muchas de sus estrellas son brillantes. Una de las m\u00e1s luminosas se encuentra casi en el mismo centro del c\u00famulo. La mayor\u00eda de ellas son blancas, pero se detectan algunas color amarillo. Seg\u00fan la posici\u00f3n del dibujo, una de las estrellas amarillas est\u00e1 al noroeste de la estrella brillante en el centro (verdaderamente, ser\u00eda al suroeste); otra se puede localizar tirando una l\u00ednea que parta desde la estrella del centro y se mueva a la amarilla ya mencionada, alej\u00e1ndonos en esa misma direcci\u00f3n. Las restantes dos estrellas amarillas est\u00e1n m\u00e1s alejadas del c\u00famulo: la tercera est\u00e1, algo solitaria, en la regi\u00f3n arriba de la estrella central, mientras que la cuarta, que tal vez sea la estrellas m\u00e1s brillante en toda el \u00e1rea visible en el campo de visi\u00f3n, se encuentra en direcci\u00f3n sureste de la estrella central (seg\u00fan el dibujo, \u00e1rea superior derecha). Hay muchas estrellas que se ven m\u00e1s lejanas (por la poca luminosidad, no necesariamente por distacia), cuya posici\u00f3n no es posible precisar para incluirlas en el dibujo. La mejor manera de ver este c\u00famulo es con poco aumento. English:<\/strong> M41 is located in Canis Major, about 4\u00b0 south of Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky. This cluster is easy to see with binoculars, which show it almost circular. Through a telescope, M41 looks great. Many of its stars are bright. One of the brightest is almost in the center of the cluster. Most of them are white, but there are some yellow too. In the sketch, one of the yellow stars is northwest of the bright star in the middle (actual orientation would be to the southwest); another can be located by drawing a line from the star in the center and moving to the aforementioned yellow one, and away in that same direction. The remaining two yellow stars are farther from the center: the third is somewhat lonely in the region above the central star, while the fourth, which is perhaps the brightest star in the entire field of view it is southeast from the central star (as shown in the sketch, upper right area). There are many more stars in the area that appear to be more distant (for their low brightness, not necessarily because of distance), whose position cannot be precised as to be included in the drawing. The best way to see this cluster is at low magnification. Using a 6mm eyepiece, 127x, it’s not possible to see the whole cluster within the field of view; you need to move the telescope to observe other areas, and the stars are not as close together as at 30x.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
